Today we bring you a short video by Televisa Sonora (a regional TV news channel) that features the beautiful town of San Carlos Sonora and reasons why you should visit.

It gives you a small taste of the natural beauty of the Sea of Cortez, its wildlife, and sight-seeing opportunities, and of course, of the only commercial pearl farm in the American continent.

At the 2:34 minute mark, you can find a short segment where the co-founders, Enrique Arizmendi & Manuel Nava, talk about the history of pearl harvesting in the region, its economic importance, and about the current pearl farming process.

The original audio is in spanish, but you can change the language in Settings: Audio tracks: English. It is an automatic translation, but it's not too shabby.
