Cruceristas del Zuiderdam visitan la Granja
Que tal, la Granja de Perlas les desea un buen dÃa, esperamos se encuentren bien. Nosotros nos hemos mantenido ocupados, gracias a varios eventos que han generado más interés en Guaymas y la Granja de Perlas.
La Granja de Perlas recibe visitantes todos los dÃas de la semana, de Lunes a Domingo. Ya sea gente curiosa que busca un atractivo turÃstico, o gente que quiere aprender más sobre nuestras perlas, vienen a tomar el tour guiado.
Para nosotros es el pan de cada dÃa, pero siempre me alegra escuchar anécdotas de la gente que viene y visita. Desde aquellos que están tomando su décimo tour con amigos que vienen de fuera, o gente de otras partes del mundo que vinieron exclusivamente a conocernos, las experiencias son muchas y variadas.
En esta ocasión quisiera compartirles una anécdota nuestra sobre un evento en particular:
El 20 de febrero de este año, el puerto de Guaymas recibió al crucero Zuiderdam. Ya habÃan pasado algunos años desde el último crucero que nos visitó, y fue realmente un boom de actividad en toda la ciudad.
El crucero transportaba a poco menos de dos mil turistas, que por supuesto no todos bajan del barco pero sigue siendo una cantidad impresionante. Nosotros atendimos a 3 camiones, más algunas personas que llegaron en taxi, para un total aproximado de doscientas personas.
Realmente fue un dÃa muy ajetreado, todo el equipo de Perlas del Mar de Cortez se movilizó para brindar la mejor experiencia posible a todos nuestros visitantes, desde que llegaron hasta que se fueron.
De esta manera, pudimos ofrecer una buena experiencia a todos los involucrados, y nuestros visitantes regresaron a su crucero con piezas de joyerÃa nuevas y únicas, cosméticos de concha nácar y recuerdos extraordinarios.

Regalos para el dÃa de las Madres
Mayo se aproxima rápidamente y el dÃa de las madres ya mero llega. En este dÃa especial se celebran a todas las mamás, agradeciéndoles su amor incondicional, su esfuerzo incansable, y su presencia en nuestras vidas.
¿Y qué mejor manera de celebrarlas que regalándoles una perla del Mar de Cortez?
Las perlas simbolizan su fuerza, su capacidad para sobreponerse a los obstáculos y dificultades de la vida. Además, son piezas bonitas y duraderas, realmente un regalo que demuestra su amor y cariño.
En esta ocasión y con motivo del dÃa de las madres quiero destacar dos piezas:
El dije de plata de Mamá Elefante de Priscila Canales, elaborado a mano en plata 975. Este es un diseño muy especial pues son dos elefantes, mamá e hijo, con dos perlas mabes a juego. Estas bellas perlas son de un color morado rosáceo y un halo arcoÃris.
La otra pieza es una gargantilla que simboliza el mar, con sus olas de plata abrazando una perla mabe impactante. La cadena es ajustable, con tres puntos de apoyo de 50cm, 45cm y 40cm, con un broche de gancho fácil de poner y quitar. Perfecto para quienes les guste usar piezas grandes y llamativas.

 El diseño es inspirado por la gargantilla de Estela de Mar que la Catrina de Maquilas Tetakawi se probó cuando nos visitó el año pasado.

Zuiderdam Passangers visit the Farm
Hello, the Cortez Pearl Farm wishes you a good day, we hope you are doing well. On our end we have been busy, thanks to several events that have occurred in Guaymas and the Pearl Farm, let me tell you about one of them.
The Pearl Farm welcomes visitors every day of the week, from Monday to Sunday. Whether it’s curious people looking for a tourist attraction, or people that want to learn more about our pearls, they come to take the guided tour.
For us it’s just our every day, but it always makes me happy to hear anecdotes from the people who come to visit. From those taking their tenth tour with out-of-town friends, to people from other parts of the world who came specifically to meet us, the experiences are many and varied.
On this occasion I would like to share our own experiences:
On February 20th of this year, the port of Guaymas received the cruise ship Zuiderdam. Several years had passed since the last cruise visit, and it was truly a boom of activity throughout the city.
The cruise ship carried just under two thousand tourists, who of course didn’t all disembark, but it is still an impressive number. We received 3 buses, plus some people who arrived on their own by taxi, for an approximate total of two hundred people.
It really was a busy day, the entire Cortez Pearls team was deployed so we could provide the best possible experience to all of our visitors, from the moment they arrived, to the moment they left.
Like this, we were able to offer a good experience to everyone involved, and our visitors returned to their cruise with new and unique jewelry pieces, mother-of-pearl cosmetics, and extraordinary memories.
Mother's Day Gifts
May is fast approaching and Mother’s Day is just around the corner. On this special day, all mothers are celebrated, thanking them for their unconditional love, their tireless effort, and their presence in our lives.
And what better way to celebrate than by gifting them a pearl from the Sea of Cortez?

On this occasion, and in honor of Mother’s Day, I would like to highlight two pieces:
The Mother Elephant pendant by Priscila Canales, handcrafted in .975 silver. This is a very special design, as it features a mother elephant and her child, with two matching mabe pearls acting as their bodies. These beautiful pearls have a pinkish-purple color and a rainbow halo that are very eye-catching.
The other piece is a necklace with a sea motif, with its silver waves embracing a striking mabe pearl. The chain is adjustable, with three length options at 50 cm, 45 cm, and 40 cm, and features a hook clasp that is easy to put on and take off. Perfect for those who enjoy wearing large, eye-catching pieces.
The design is inspired by the Estela de Mar necklace that the Catrina of Maquilas Tetakawi tried on when she visited us last year.
